MINUTES OF SHORT BUSINESS MEETING AT BURBAGE ON SATURDAY 26TH JUNE 2004

The meeting followed the Branch Open Day which was arranged to provide more ringing for members. The towers open were Marple, New Mills, Hayfield, Taxal, Fairfield,Wormhill and Burbage. The turnout was rather disappointing considering that members had requested more ringing and less business.

Christine Broadley thanked Kevin Rogers for organising the day and the towers visited for the use of the bells.

The minutes of the previous meeting at Cheadle were confirmed.

The following were elected members of the Guild: Brian Clifton, Geoffrey and Dorothy Howell and Leslie Kincey, all from Disley and Ellen Thomas from Macclesfield St Michael. Proposed by Peter Dyson and seconded by David Friend.

There being no further business the meeting was closed.
