OF THE BRANCH MEETING AT KNUTSFORD ON SATURDAY 22ND JANUARY 2005
CHAIRMAN'S
OPENING REMARKS AND VOTE OF THANKS
The
Chairman, Christine Broadley, thanked Linda and Jim Townsend for the use of
Knutsford bells and for providing tea and biscuits.
Apologies
were received from Frances Hibbert.
Bridget
Lomas of Wilmslow was elected a member of the Guild. Proposed by Neil Lomas and
seconded by Roger Bugler.
Alan
McFall presented the accounts to 31/12/04 on behalf of Christine Osbaldiston,
Treasurer. Proposed by Trevor Marchbank and seconded by Peter Broadbent and
accepted.
It
was felt that, under the new format for meetings, there was too long a gap
between the afternoon and evening ringing. It was decided to have the afternoon
ringing from 3:30 to 5:00 and the evening from 6:30 to 8:30.
There
being no further business the meeting was closed. Evening ringing continued at
Mobberley.
